MEMORIAL CELEBRATION FOR ERIK BLUMENFELD

MEMORIAL CELEBRATION FOR SPIN DOCTORS MUSIC GROUP'S ERIK BLUMENFELD
To be Held in the Country Music Association Atrium on April 1, 2013
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 28, 2013) – The memorial service and celebration of the life of Erik Blumenfeld, Director of New Business Development at Spin Doctors Music Group and Founder/ CEO of OT Entertainment, who suddenly passed away on March 20 at the age of 30, will be held in the Country Music Association atrium on April 1, 2013. The service will begin at 6:00 p.m..
Pete Wilson, Pastor of Cross Point Community Church, will be directing the service with radio personality Billy Block commentating and several special guest performances. A small reception catered by Rooster's BBQ with a few of his favorite food and beverages, including Jack Daniel's Lynchburg Lemonade and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, will follow the service.
As an active member of the community and an avid member or several music industry groups, including SOLID (Society of Leaders in Development), SOLID made a $25,000 contribution to Big Brothers/ Big Sisters in his name.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the OT Entertainment Foundation or the MusiCares Foundation. Friends and colleagues can upload their favorite photos with Blumenfeld for the slide show at the ceremony on the OT Entertainment facebook page.
A scholarship fund and foundation to continue Blumenfeld's passion for helping up-and-coming music industry entrepreneurs and artists achieve their dreams is also being created in his memory. More information about the foundation and scholarship will be revealed at the memorial celebration.

NiXa Xperience: Carrie Zaruba

NiXa Xperience:  We arrived early to the event and got to meet Carrie before the show and hear some of the sound check.  Everyone was very nice.  Carrie was introduced and she rocked her set.  Her single, "Woman On A Mission" is a great song and she performed to a very excited crowd.  The single is out to radio now.

Our Background Story:  We received an invitation from PLA Media:  "Come listen to the "kick ass, path blazing" country artist on a mission, tonight at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville!  Carrie Zaruba will shake the house. 5:30pm!"  Well we just knew we have to go.  Carrie finished Top 100 on the 2005 season of American Idol.

NASHVILLE, TN - The 4th Annual Country Music Is Love concert benefiting City of Hope was held Monday, February 25th at 12th and Porter. The sold out concert was a hit among attendees and raised $3,200 for City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading research, treatment, and education centers for cancer and other life threatening diseases. The concert was hosted by Miss Tennessee USA 2013, Brenna Mader. Performers Greg Bates, Joel Crouse, Rose Falcon, The Henningsens, Chase Rice, Maggie Rose and Charlie Worsham entertained the sold-out crowd with acoustic performances. The concert also features a songwriters round which included Corey Crowder, Jillian Jacqueline and Carley Pearce and a surprise performance by Wade Bowen.
