NiXa Xperience:  We arrived early to the event and got to meet Carrie before the show and hear some of the sound check.  Everyone was very nice.  Carrie was introduced and she rocked her set.  Her single, "Woman On A Mission" is a great song and she performed to a very excited crowd.  The single is out to radio now.

Our Background Story:  We received an invitation from PLA Media:  "Come listen to the "kick ass, path blazing" country artist on a mission, tonight at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville!  Carrie Zaruba will shake the house. 5:30pm!"  Well we just knew we have to go.  Carrie finished Top 100 on the 2005 season of American Idol.

RAISES $3,200 for CITY OF HOPE

NASHVILLE, TN - The 4th Annual Country Music Is Love concert benefiting City of Hope was held Monday, February 25th at 12th and Porter. The sold out concert was a hit among attendees and raised $3,200 for City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading research, treatment, and education centers for cancer and other life threatening diseases. The concert was hosted by Miss Tennessee USA 2013, Brenna Mader. Performers Greg Bates, Joel Crouse, Rose Falcon, The Henningsens, Chase Rice, Maggie Rose and Charlie Worsham entertained the sold-out crowd with acoustic performances. The concert also features a songwriters round which included Corey Crowder, Jillian Jacqueline and Carley Pearce and a surprise performance by Wade Bowen.

 CountryMusicIsLove is now hosting an eBay auction featuring items autographed by the artists. All proceeds will be donated to City of Hope. For a complete list of auction items, click HERE.

NASHVILLE, TN – CountryMusicIsLove is proud to announce the Annual CountryMusicIsLove Concert benefiting City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading research, treatment, and education centers for cancer and other life threatening diseases. This year’s concert will feature acoustic performances by Greg Bates, Joel Crouse, Rose Falcon, The Henningsens, Chase Rice, Maggie Rose and Charlie Worsham. “I am so proud to be a part of the CountryMusicIsLove City of Hope Concert. This annual event is a great way for the Country music community to come together for an excellent cause,” stated Bates. “I’m honored to help raise awareness and funds for City of Hope and the brave patients they help every day. It will be a fun night, and I’m looking forward to playing with my friends in my hometown of Nashville.” The concert will also feature a songwriters round which includes Corey Crowder, Jillian Jacqueline and Carly Pearce. 

 

Miss Tennessee USA 2013, Brenna Mader, will serve as this year’s host. “As a lifetime Country music fan and supporter of Nashville songwriters, I am so honored and excited to be hosting this event,” Mader shares. “Having multiple family members who have been affected by cancer, it is something very close to my heart and I’m looking forward to a great evening of music and helping out City of Hope!”

NiXa Xperience:  The show was high energy, non-stop entertainment, and crowd interactive.  Each band members gets the spot light.  While Aubrey Collins is lead vocal, they are all singing, and in awesome hamony.  Benji Harris is on guitar, and Nathan Stoops on fiddle, WOW fiddle !!

Our Background Story:

We met Nathan Stoops in May 2011 at a friends barbecue.  He let us know that he was traveling to LA for the LIVE shows of American Idol.  Nathan was playing fiddle for contestant Lauren Alaina, and when we tuned in for the show, he was on stage during several performances and ultimately 5 episodes of the show.  Lauren finished second.

We met Nathan again on stage at Big Shotz in Nashville playing fiddle for Molly Hunt during the NIXA Country Worlds Largest Fan Club Party IV on June 11th.  We were also introduced to Benji Harris, who played guitar for Nicole Johnson during her performance with us for the same event.

Nathan asked us to come see his band, Scarletta, perform at The Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, later that night for the CMA Fest New Faces Show.  The third member of Scarletta is Aubrey Collins, who we had ironically interviewed a few years earlier, after she joined Trick Pony, soon after Heidi Newfield left that group.  Needless to say we were excited to check out this new band, called SCARLETTA !!
